Ljubičevo stable
Ljubičevo stable is the oldest stable in Serbia, established in 1858 by the order of Miloš Obrenović. It is located on the right shore of the river Velika Morava, near Požarevac.
== History ==
Ljubičevo is first time mentioned in the official letters in the 19th century. Before it become a stable it was an agricultural society called “Morava” that prince Milos took from the Turks and in 1860 he donated it to the country for the benefit of the people. After death of prince Milos,same year, prince Knez Mihailo takes over the care for the stable. In the year 1866 stable are named Ljubicevo in the honor of Knjeginja Ljubica. Stable were destroyed twice and renewed in the wars that hit that area in the first half of 20th century. After the Second World War Ljubicevo becomes military stable, but in the 1951 it loses its status because of the modernization of the military.
